News Release

The 9th International Public Procurement Conference
28-30 September, 2023, in Santiago, Chile

COVID-19 has forced us to postpone the 9th  International Public Procurement Conference that was scheduled in August 2020, in Buenos Aires, Argentina. As COVID-19 has been under control (not over yet), our Conference Committee decided to hold IPPC9 on 28-30 September, 2023 in Santiago, Chile, instead of Argentina which has faced a serious economic recession.

We are happy to see IPPC9 is co-hosted by the Inter-American Development Bank; the Adolfo Ibáñez University, Chile; and the Central University of Finance and Economics, China. The Inter-American Development Bank will cover travel expenses for three invited keynote peakers and heads of select National Procurement agencies in Caribbean and Latin American countries.

So far, we have received 112 paper proposals and 55 full papers. It is expected over 350 participants, if COVID-19 does not pose any significant health risks.

We are looking for papers covering many procurement topics as listed in our flyer (http://ippa.org/ippc9/ippc-flyer). All proposals and papers submissions must be completed online as follows:

Deadline for paper proposal submissions 20th December 2022
